“The search for a head coach comes to an end today. After speaking with dozens of youth, collegiate and professional coaches- we were enamored with Brandon,” said Lubyansky. “He has such a strong reputation of developing players of the highest caliber and winning the right way. His recent US Soccer Youth National Championship victories put him over the top. Brandon is the top man to lead FC Baltimore onto the field of battle.”

“I appreciate the opportunity FC Baltimore has given me and look forward to the challenge of building the club,” said Quaranta. “Baltimore has always had a rich soccer tradition and produced tons of talent at every level including top college programs from across the nation. We look forward to providing a high-level club option for all these top NCAA players as they look to continue their development of the summer period.”

A Legacy of Coaching Excellence

Quaranta enters the semi-professional ranks to accompany his notable coaching success at the youth and high school levels.

Quaranta has led his club teams to win three US Soccer Youth Soccer National Championships (2010, 2014, 2015). During the same time, he has been an incredible high school soccer coach in one of the most competitive states in the nation. Most impressively, he led McDonogh to a state championship with an undefeated run in 2015. Furthermore, he led McDonogh to win the 2017 state championship. This success has led him to be a two-time recipient of the NSCAA Maryland State Coach of the Year award.

The majority of elite players from Maryland have played for Quaranta. With the semi-professional realm heavily dominated by current NCAA Division I players- Quaranta packs quite the punch.
