Coach Myers Brings Years Of Coaching Experience To Baltimore Celtic

Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club is proud to announce our new Girls Director of Coaching Ashley Myers.

Her resume is outstanding and her passion to help grow our club is exciting. Coach Ashley has had an amazing career at Penn State Women’s Soccer, at the professional level, and with US National Youth Teams.

Ashley formerly played internationally in Australia as a forward for the Lions F.C. of Brisbane. She also had foreign experience playing with Haukar in Reykjavik, Iceland.

As a collegiate, Myers was member of five NCAA Tournament teams, as she was four-time Big Ten champion at Penn State (2005-08) before playing a graduate year at UNC Wilmington and winning the 2009 CAA Championship. Prior to playing at the collegiate level, Myers suited up with the U.S. U-16 and U-17 teams, additionally, she was in the pool for the U-20 team. A Baltimore native, Myers was a two-time Parade All-American during her interscholastic career at The John Carroll School in Bel Air, Md.

Myers earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and applied communications from Penn State in 2009 and a masters in liberal arts and humanities from UNC Wilmington in 2011.
