Baltimore Celtic Names Dan Louisignau As Boys ECNL Director

Dan has been involved with Baltimore soccer since his youth playing days. Dan played for the Baltimore Bays, winning two USYS National Championships as well as the US Developmental Academy National Championship.

Dan went on to play at UMBC, in 2010 UMBC won the America East Conference championship. In 2011 he was named America East Goalkeeper of the Year. Following his playing days, Dan began his coaching career spending three years as an Assistant Coach at UMBC. Along with current Celtic coach, Anthony Adams, the staff was named America East coaching staff of the year for three consecutive years.

After his stint at UMBC, Louisignau moved on to Appalachian State where he served as an assistant coach for two years. In 2018, Appalachian State produced seven Sun Belt All-Conference players.

Most recently, Louisignau was an assistant coach for American University men’s soccer for the past three seasons. In 2020 American University won the Patriot league, first time since 2004. Dan also spent time coaching at Bethesda Soccer Club. Dan is currently the head coach of our 03/04 boy’s ECNL team and will also serve as Baltimore Celtic boy’s college recruiting coordinator.
