Baltimore Celtic Names Stephen Basso As Executive Director and Club Director of Coaching

Stephen grew up in Columbia, MD, and went pro immediately out of high school. He has played professionally both internationally and in America. Basso has held director positions with clubs in Pennsylvania and most recently with Wake FC in North Carolina. He has a track record of success with each club and with coaching and his experience with Girls Academy and other elite leagues at top clubs will serve him well at Celtic.

“I couldn’t be more excited and happy to be coming back home and be a part of one of the best clubs in the country” Basso states, adding “I can’t wait to get started and look forward to meeting everyone in the club from other directors, coaches and of course the players and their families.”

We are excited to have a full-time Executive Director and DOC and we are very optimistic about our future. With our emerging partnership with Coppermine, our new Technical Director with USWNT legend Christie Rampone, and other initiatives, we continue to strive for the best opportunities for our players and families.
