Baltimore Celtic is proud to announce the hiring of Craig Appleby as the Boys ECNL 04 Head Coach.  “I’m honored to be joining a club that has such a successful tradition as Baltimore Celtic. I am looking forward to working with some of the most talented youth in the area!”

Appleby is the Head Coach of Johns Hopkins University Men’s Soccer overseeing a successful program since he arrived in 2008 , earning Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year multiple times, including this past season.

“Craig is a coach that we have wanted with Celtic for some time. Adding someone with his proven track record and level of success strengthens our staff immensely. Craig will teach the game the right way and bring a wealth of experience . We are extremely lucky to have him and our 2004’s are in great hands” adds Celtic Director of Coaching Brandon Quaranta.
Coach Appleby brings a wealth of experience including playing professionally overseas and in the United States and adds additional college coaching experience to an already nationally recognized coaching staff at Celtic.

“I’m extremely proud of our reputation and track record of Celtic players continuing their playing careers in college. Adding a coach of Craig’s caliber and pedigree not only reinforces our commitment to being a proven pathway to college but also strengthens it” states Celtic President Carl Delmont.

“I’m also honored that Craig chose Celtic for his son to play soccer well before this coaching opportunity presented itself- that is an impressive testimonial to our program,” added Delmont. Craig resides in Baltimore with his wife and children.
