The Celtic pathway starts with a strong foundation. From there, players who out-work every opponent in every game, play intelligently, and execute efficiently, will have opportunities to advance through each program to compete on regional and national stages. Young people who chooses Baltimore Celtic, already possess the desire to be elite players with a notable level of self-motivation and self-discipline.

Player Criteria
Each player selected will be the building block of a TEAM. The young person, who chooses Baltimore Celtic, will already possess the desire to be an elite player with some level of self-motivation and self-discipline. It is the responsibility of the Baltimore Celtic coaching staff to bring the best out of these players; to develop their technical skills and their character; and to create an environment in which these players grow as individuals, as teammates, and as human beings.
Primary considerations: Motivation; Selflessness; Competitiveness; Humility; Respect; Commitment; and Discipline.
Secondary considerations: Athleticism; Quickness; Intelligence; Awareness; Technical Ability; and Coachability.
Player Expectations
- Put in the work
- Arrive on time for meetings, practices, and games
- Complete the required off-field assignments
- Set individual goals and put in individual work on the player’s own time to achieve those goals
- Communicate effectively with coaches
- Communicate effectively with teammates
- Ask for guidance when necessary
- Be an active member of the Club and their team
- Be a leader
