Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club has joined over 60 youth clubs in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area as part of a new local initiative called “DMV United.”
During the Coronavirus outbreak, all member clubs of DMV United have vowed to work together and not return to play until it is safe and appropriate to do so. During a time of uncertainty and potential financial issues, all clubs have also vowed not to take advantage of clubs’ shortfalls by recruiting players during the time off.
Baltimore Celtic SC Director of Coaching Mike St. Martin explained, “Baltimore Celtic’s #1 concern is the safety and well-being of our community. The club is honored to be a charter member of DMV United.”
“We look forward to working together to assist the soccer community in navigating through this unprecedented and difficult time,” St. Martin added.
