1. What school do you attend?
I am in the 7th grade at Thomas Johnson Elementary Middle School, which is in Baltimore City.
2. How long have you been with Celtic?
This is my third year with Baltimore Celtic, playing with Coach Behegan 2008 Girls team.
3. What is your favorite thing about your team?
My favorite thing about my team is the way we are always able to find ways to have fun on and off the field. I also love my team because we are all hardworking and love to compete.
4. What are you most looking forward to in the spring season?
During the spring season I am really excited to become a more intelligent player that is able to play quickly and precisely in order to execute my decisions. I’m also excited to improve as a player in all aspects and as a teammate creating better relationships.
5. What position do you play?
I play as a central midfielder usually an attacking mid as the 8 or 10 but also play defensive as the 6. I love playing in the middle because I can control the flow of the game and create chances for my team to get up the field. I also love playing as a midfielder because I feel like I have the opportunity to move more freely and find, create, and exploit space around the field.
6. Do you have any favorite soccer memories?
My favorite soccer memory was when we traveled to Disney World in February 2020 for a tournament. I had fun with my team around the hotel and on the ESPN World Wide of Sports field, eventually winning the tournament.
7. What is the best piece of advice you have received from a coach?
The best piece of advice that I have ever received from a coach was to relax and enjoy the process of play. This advice has always helped me whenever I play because I always find myself overthinking and nervous so knowing that I have to relax and just have fun helps me to play better and feel better.
8. What is your favorite color?
I love the color yellow because I feel like it gives off such a positive vibe that brightens everything up, and yellow also reminds me of my favorite fruit, pineapple.
9. What are your favorite hobbies outside of soccer?
My favorite hobbies outside of soccer are painting, baking, hanging out with friends and family, and of course sleeping because all of these things help me relax and calm down.
